The ability to prepare a good sauce is the key to creating many different dishes. Many people are intimidated by sauces, but they are easier to create than you think. In this two hour course I will teach you the basis of creating sauces and their cousin, soups. Course topics will include how to prepare three "Mother Sauces" that can be customized and transformed into many different types of sauce, adding different flavors to sauces, thickening sauces, and the basics of preparing cream and clear soups.
